Rochelle Iganacio sure has her food radar on when subscribing to local newsletters and scrolling through Instagram. When Kasey Ramen popped up with its ramen kits, she made herself one of the small group of people who tasted the first few delicious batches of its Tonkatsu Ramen.
“I’m obsessed,” says Iganacio. “Kasey Ramen kind of ruined my experience with ramen. Now I just can’t have ramen that is not from them.”
Kasey Ramen started its Instagram page for pop-ups and ramen kits in 2020, and have weekly rotating menus for pre-orders. In the past couple months, the team hosted a few popup ramen catering events at District Cafe and Bakery, featuring Tan Tan Men and Tonkotsu.
While it posts most of its news on Instagram, the Kasey Ramen team is very easy to approach either online or during its in-person experiences. It takes a few days to keep an eye on ots next weekly pre-order events, but Ignacio promises the fresh ramen noodle soup is worth the chase.
“Either I’m ordering to pick up, or invite people to the popups, I always love talking to them and seeing what’s new on their radar,” says Iganacio. “They have my loyalty now.”
