White rabbits are known to be a symbol of good luck, and you’ll definitely feel lucky if you stumble upon the White Rabbit ice cream truck in Edmonton.
As an after-work treat, I hunted down the White Rabbit’s location on Instagram (the location changes daily) and set off to grab a cone. The flavour that intrigued me the most was the London Fog, which features Vintage Fork Earl Grey Tea cold steeped in a sweet cream base for 36 hours.
I ordered a double scoop in a waffle cone and also got the Cookie Monster, which has house-made cookie dough bits. My first thought when I tried the London Fog was, “wow, this actually tastes like London Fog tea.” It’s simple and flavourful. While I like tea, I love cookies, and the housemade dough bits were chewy, soft and the perfect addition to the ice cream.
One of the worst things about ordering an ice cream cone is when the cone isn’t filled to the bottom, but White Rabbit fills the ice cream cone so that you have a taste of creamy goodness up until your last bite.
