With the opening of spots like Die Pie and Good Stock Restaurant, vegan options in the city are definitely on the rise. Fans of plant-based food will be happy to know that the family behind Cafe Mosaics has continued with their mission to deliver delicious vegetarian and vegan options to diners with the opening of The Moth Cafe in The Quarters. The space itself feels like an oasis, with plenty of greenery, exposed brick and high ceilings.
The first thing you’ll notice is the drink menu – in fact, drink options outnumber actual food options considerably. You can choose between tea lattes with added elixirs, ice blends, medicinal teas and even a kombucha bar. There are even a wide variety of milk options to choose from; almond, soy, coconut and cashew.
The menu offers quick bites, all-day breakfast items and hearty entrees. Sample an inventive option like the pulled jackfruit enchiladas, indulge in chai pancakes or go classic with a bagel topped with avocado and young coconut bacon.
