Central Social Hall
This made-in-Edmonton mini-chain has become famous for being a go-to spot on Oilers game nights. Get close to the action by heading to the Jasper Avenue location, but you can stay closer to the Henday if you choose the St. Albert or Ellerslie spots. You can do chicken wings and beer, but you can also have perogies & sausage, or spicy brussels sprouts in maple glaze. We won’t judge. OK, we lied. We’re totally judging you.

Barney’s Pub and Grill
If you’re in the south and don’t want to head into the city, Barney’s Pub & Grill offers Oilers game day specials, and its elevated pub menu has items sourced from local suppliers. Also, Barney’s has a self-serve craft beer wall. (Yes, we buried the lede). You draw from a selection of Alberta craft beers, and pay by the ounce. It’s like those frozen yogurt places, except it’s better, because it’s beer.

The Provincial Kitchen & Bar
How can you not be intrigued by a burger called the “Connor McProv.” Two smashed patties and Thousand Island sauce, peppercorn bacon and five-cheese blend.

Kelly’s Pub
This is a favourite post-game watering hole, as it’s located just a short walk from Rogers Place. This is just an unpretentious pub, with good beer selection and food. On a warm night, you’ll enjoy sitting on the patio after the game.
