With the goal of making you a “kitchen master,” Barb’s Kitchen has been in business as a cooking store that offers classes since 1986. The kitchen offers four seasonal classes a la carte or in a package. Flavours of Fall is a two-and-a-half-hour class where you’ll make Pumpkin Soup with Sourdough Crackers, Perfect Roast Chicken, the Best Brussels Sprouts, Roasted Corn on the Cob, Persimmon Pudding and Mulled Apple Cider.
Barb’s Kitchen Centre also runs holiday meal classes, cultural cooking like Indian and Italian, and specialty baking classes through the year.

Calgarian-French Bakery, Ollia Macarons & Tea, is popping up in Edmonton to host Macaron 101 classes and teach you how to make this classic French treat. Join co-founder and expert pastry chef David Rousseau for a two-and-a-half-hour hands-on experience where you’ll dive into the history of the macaron, master the art of macaronage, and learn all the tips and tricks for perfecting the macaron shell, flavour creation and troubleshooting.
