This contest is executed by Odvod Publishing, (the “Contest Promoter”) and conducted in conjunction with Cottswood Interiors (the “Prize Supplier”). By entering this Contest, all entrants accept and agree to these Rules and Regulations (“the Rules”). The contest runs from, 9:00 am MST February 3, 2023, to 11:59 a.m. MST February 26, 2023, (the “Contest Closing Date”).
Prize Allocation: One (1) prize is allocated to residents of Alberta that have reached the age of majority at the time of entry.
Winner Selection: Contest winner is selected by random draw. The winner will be contacted via the email address provided by the entrant at contest entry.
Chances of Winning: The chances of winning is determined by the number of entries received, although the odds will not exceed ~1/3,500,000 (the total entrants eligible).
Eligibility: Employees (and persons with whom they are domiciled) of the Contest Promoter, its agents and representatives, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and dealers, advertising and promotional agencies, as well as suppliers of materials or services related to this Contest, and including supplier of the prize, are not eligible to enter the Contest.
For any entrant who has not reached the age of majority, parent or guardian consent is necessary to enter the Contest. In the event it is discovered that you entered without consent from your parent or legal guardian, your entry will be void. For minors entering the Contest, the terms “You,” “entrant,” and “winner” mean parent or guardian of that person.
Entries are limited to individuals only; commercial enterprises and business entities are not eligible to enter the Contest. Submitted photographs must never have been previously published or accepted for publication in any media, exhibited publicly, or selected as a winner in any other contest.

Limit of one entry per person or email address. In the event it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than the stated limit, then your entry will be voided.
Entries that are incomplete, lost, stolen, late, delayed, misdirected, illegible, damaged, altered, irregular, destroyed, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any conditions of these Official Contest Rules & Regulations shall be disqualified.
The Prize: $2,023 CAD towards products available at Cottswood Interiors
The Prize may not be exchanged in whole or in part for cash or other substitutes, is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-saleable and must be accepted as awarded, except that the Contest Promoter or Contest Supplier reserves the right at its sole subjective discretion to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value. Any unused portion of the Prize value is forfeited.
Draw The selected entrant will be contacted by e-mail within three (3) business days of the draw date. Only the email address associated with the winning entry will be contacted by the Contest Provider, and only communications from the email address associated with the selected entry can claim the prize.
If the selected entrant does not return confirmation within (5) business days of the draw date, they will be disqualified and a new random draw from the remaining eligible entries will be conducted to select another entry and the process noted above will be repeated until a selected entrant is contacted or there are no more eligible entries, whichever comes first.
The selected entrant is required to sign a Declaration and Release Form (the “Release Form”) within ten (10) business days of being notified as the winner. The signed Release Form will confirm compliance with these Official Contest Rules & Regulations, acceptance of the Prize as awarded without substitution, and releasing the Contest Promoter, its affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest judging organization and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with the Prize or this Contest.
Failure to return the Release Form within the time period indicated in the Official Contest Rules & Regulations and on the Release Form will cause the Prize to be forfeited and a new random draw from the remaining eligible entries will be conducted to select another entry and the process noted above will be repeated until a winner is declared or there are no more eligible entries, whichever comes first.
By accepting the Prize, the winner accepts the inherently dangerous nature and risk in these activities, including personal injury and/or death, acknowledge that their participation in such Prize is voluntary, acknowledge that there are natural factors and occurrences which may impact on or affect the safety of the activities they are participating in and they assume the risk of such factors and occurrences and agree that the Contest Promoter, its directors, employees, officers, agents and affiliates, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, the Prize suppliers and the independent contest judging organization (the “Promotional Parties”) shall not in any way be responsible for any resulting injury and/or death.
By entering the Contest, entrants, selected entrants, and such entrants’ travel companions agree to release and hold harmless the Promotional Parties from any injury, loss or damage of any kind to persons or property, including but not limited to death, resulting in whole or in part directly or indirectly from the acceptance, receipt, possession, use or misuse of the awarded Prize, any portion of such Prize, participation in any Contest-related activity including any travel related thereto or participation in the Contest.
By entering the Contest selected entrants and such entrants’ travel companions agree to fully indemnify the Promotional Parties from any and all claims by third parties without limitation.
By entering this Contest, entrants accept and agree to abide by the Official Contest Rules & Regulations and the decisions of the contest judging organization with respect to all aspects of the Contest, which are final, binding and conclusive on all matters relative to this Contest.
In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these Official Contest Rules & Regulations, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified. Entries are subject to verification by the contest judging organization.
The Contest Promotor reserves the right to void any entry and/or cancel or modify the Contest in whole or in part (without notice to entrants individually) if, in its sole discretion, it determines that for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, fraud, technical failures, human, printing or distribution errors, or any causes or occurrences have compromised the administration, safety, fairness or integrity of the Contest.
In the event of a dispute, entries made by Internet will be declared made by the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address
Any person entering this Contest or trying to do so by any means which go against the intention of these Official Contest Rules & Regulations and which would be unfair to the other participants will be automatically disqualified and the Contest Promoter reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and is void where prohibited.
Submission Requirements: You must have taken the photograph (“Photo”) that you submit for the contest. You must have the consent of all individuals who are included in the Photo and consent from the individuals who own the personal property (i.e. the chair) featured in the Photo. Photo cannot show background artwork or items (including but not limited to clothing, tools, and vehicles) bearing business, designer, or sports logos or designs.
You represent and warrant to the Contest Promotor and Prize Supplier that any submitted Photo is not defamatory or obscene and does not violate the rights of any third parties or any applicable laws.
Submitted file must be in .jpg .jpeg .png .heic file formats. File dimensions must be larger than 200 x 200 pixels. Files must be smaller than 2MB.
Contest Promotor may disqualify any Photo that it deems, in its sole discretion, not to abide by any of the foregoing eligibility or submission requirements.
Intellectual Property: By entering the Contest and submitting a Photo, you grant (and warrant that any individuals shown in the Photo grant) to the Contest Promotor, its affiliated companies and each of their licensees, successors, and assigns (together, the “Licensees”), an exclusive, perpetual, worldwide and royalty-free licence to edit, publish, use, and exploit the Photo, in whole or in part, in any format and in any media (including without limitation print; websites, social media platforms and other internet or mobile use; television and film; and any advertising or promotional use), for any commercial or non-commercial use, without attribution or compensation to you or any third party, other than the awarding of the prizes under this contest. You acknowledge that Licensees may modify the Photo; you hereby irrevocably waive all moral rights in connection with the Photo.
You warrant that you control all rights in each Photo, and will maintain the ability to grant the foregoing exclusive license to Contest Promotor, free of any limitations, restrictions or third party obligations. You agree that Content Promoter and other Licensees shall have the right to determine the extent and manner of use of any submitted Photo in their sole discretion and are not obligated to use any Photo. You agree that Content Promoter is not responsible for return or preservation of any Photo.
