Brussels sprouts may be an unusual thing to highlight off of an entire menu known for its aged, butchered meats and handcrafted cocktails, but Jill Scheyk swears by DOSC’s rendition of the vegetable.
After first ordering them while hosting a meeting of the YEG Wine Nerds, where the DOSC staff was incredibly genuine and hospitable, the brussels sprouts became a favourite.
“We all ordered four of those brussels sprouts to split, and they were just life-changing,” Scheyk remembers. “I’ve definitely gone there to have a drink with someone, and we’ve just ordered the brussels sprouts. They come into play every time.”
