On top of being CEO and founder of the cannabis manufacturing and product development company Token Naturals, Keenan Pascal is also co-creator of Token Bitters, a line of artisanal organic bitters found on cocktail menus and at retailers across Canada.
As such, Pascal is highly involved in the bar scene in the city. He’s friends with a few owners and managers, and has worked closely with Percy Wiredu, the owner of El Beso, for a while.
“He’s a great guy, so he hosted me and some friends one night, and at the end, he brought out the churro ice cream sandwich… and that is by far my favourite thing in the city to eat,” Pascal says.
“I’m definitely a guy with a sweet tooth, I’m a dessert guy. So now, my go-to is actually just going to the bar, ordering a dealer’s choice cocktail with Token Bitters in it, and then washing it down with a churro ice cream sandwich. Great way to end your day.”
