This year has thrown its fair share of curveballs (and sliders and knucklers…) at us. But that hasn’t stopped these Edmontonians from making this city a better place. They’ve earned our city recognition both nationally and internationally, and with their open hearts and bright minds have shown that, in a year of exceptional adversity, ingenuity and integrity still shine through.

Alumna from last year’s Top 40 Under 40, Sable Chan is a vocalist and speech-language pathologist.
